The International Council on Biblical Inerrancy (ICBI) was founded in 1977 to clarify and defend the doctrine of biblical inerrancy. There have been three major ICBI conferences in Chicago: 1. October 26–28 1978, 2. November 10–13 1982, and 3. December 10–13, 1986.
