  • Question: Does the Biblical account recorded in the first chapter of 
  • Genesis 1:1; 2; 5; 8; 13; 19; 23; 31; 2:3; prove that the physical universe and the earth were created in 6 Days and only 6000 years ago? A superficial reading of Scripture may lead to presumptuous conclusions from verses like;
  • Exodus 20:11; for in six days Yehawah ( עָשָׂה = made = [asah] means; to mold, fashion, to organize) the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day, therefore Yehawah blessed the Sabbath day and made it Holy 
  • The Exodus 20:11; account does not contain the word (בָּרָא  = created = [bara]) that exists in Genesis 1:1
  • So the Exodus 20:11; account is only referring to the reorganizing and renewing of the heavens and the earth. This obvious difference shows that there could be a vast amount of time that exist between... 
  • Genesis 1:1; and the second verse in Genesis 1:2; Psa 104:30; where Yehawah Eloheyem begins Renewing the face of the earth. 
  • Any attempt to ignore archaeological evidence of multiple prehistoric eras only produce senseless disregard of reasonable scientific investigation.
  • In Job 38:4; 5; 6; 7; Yehawah Eloheyem informs Job that the Angels shouted for joy when He (יָסַד  = began forming = [yaw·sad/]) the earth. It should be obvious that the Angels already existed in a Heavenly realm before the creation of the physical universe from which the elements for the earth were formed.
  • Genesis 1:2; The earth (הָיְתָה = became = [hayah]) (תֹהוּ = formless = [tohu]) and (וָבֹהוּ = void = [bohu]) and darkness was on the face of the deep. The Spirit of Eloheyem (מְרַחֶפֶת  = hovered = to intensely watching over, in a state of shock or shaken) over the face of the waters. 
  • Genesis 1:31; The Sixth Day ended when,  Eloheyem observed everything He (עָשָׂה = made = [asah] means; to mold, fashion, to organize) and it was (very = מְאֹד = [meod] = exceeding the earthly creation that existed before the six days of the Genesis 1:2; renewal began) and the word (good =  טָבַב = [towb] = a quality of goodness that corrects and heals the created nature that became destroyed by evil).
