The Dead Sea Scrolls, or DSS, are a collection of parchment/papyrus scrolls and scroll fragments, possibly representing 900 or more different Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek documents of various types, first discovered around Khirbet Qumran, West Bank, within numerous caves from 1947 to 1956.
